Francken & Partner wanted a personal site, but also professional.
I achieved personality with photographs. By putting a portrait on the front page, you immediately know with whom you are dealing. This makes the site personal. Furthermore, this personal approach leads to trust. People are more liable to trust a person if they know who this person is. This way, the site immediately leaves a strong impression. The photography was also done by me.
Of course, I used the latest web standards. By using these, the site works in all modern browsers. This included smartphones and tablets. By using so-called microdata, smart browsers can extract extra information from the pages. For example, a phone could call the phone number with one tap.
